The decision to move a family member or loved one into a nursing home is one of the toughest and most difficult decisions
you can ever make. Over time, caring for an aging or disabled loved one can seriously deplete your energy, your time and,
of course, your bank account But that's not all. If that person suffers from a recent health issue (such
as a heart attack, stroke or cancer), or from a degenerative disease (such as memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer's), that
difficulty can be easily compounded. Plus, if you don't know your rights and the different steps you can take right now, that
difficulty can expand drastically. For example...
- Your nursing home bills can snowball out of control;
- Your entire lifesavings can be drained if left unprotected;
- Your income and standard of living can be seriously threatened;
- And in some cases your family home and other hard-earned assets can be lost.
Our firm is dedicated to helping families who are overwhelmed or confused by all the decisions they have to make when
they have a loved one in a nursing home.
Let's work together ....
Nursing Home Dilemma
It's never too late! If your spouse or loved one is in a nursing home, and if you want to put an
end to the mind-numbing guesswork and grunt work that's usually involved in caring for them, an action plan
can be set up. With the right tools, and using my knowledge of the law and strategies that have been successful in the past,
my we may be able to...
- Reduce or even eliminate your nursing home bills
- Protect your lifesavings and financial security
- Increase the amount of income you get to keep
And safely pass on an inheritance to your children
Making informed decisions may become more difficult or even impossible over time. The longer you wait, the greater
the risk becomes. The time to act is now! With proper planning, you will ensure that you've taken the
best steps possible to protect your loved ones and your family's financial security. Do it now before it's too late!
If you would like the guidance of a law firm which has helped thousands of local families successfully deal with these
issues, please call me at Legal Awareness, Inc. The phone number is (480) 947-3232. Please call now... You have absolutely
nothing to lose!
The longer you wait, the greater the chances are that you will overspend on the unrecoverable
costs of caring for your loved one, that you will place any future inheritance at risk of being vulnerable to attack, and
that the risk of potentially losing any resources or hard-earned assets (including your lifesavings, your loved one's income
level and even the family home) will increase over time. The time to know your rights and discover the steps you
can take is NOW!
Why do you need such a consultation?
First of all, if you think you and your loved one are well-covered, or that the government will provide you with the
necessary assistance, think again. This is rarely if ever so. Plus, the needs and costs for either home care or nursing
home care are spiraling. To show you, here are some interesting facts about the explosion in nursing home care needs and costs...
Life expectancy has grown dramatically. According to a 2002 Survey on Nursing Home and Home Care
Costs, life expectancy after age 65 has now increased to 17.9 years, up from 1940 when life expectancy after 65 was only
13 extra years. The longer people live, the greater the chances of an increased need for assistance with daily activities,
such as toileting, transferring, bathing, dressing, eating and continence.
The numbers (and the societal strain) are also growing. According to the 2000 U.S. Census,
there are 6.4 million people aged 65 or older who need Long-Term Care. The over-65 population has increased by 12 percent
since 1990, and the number of adults aged 45 to 64 increased by 34 percent. As a result, the need for both nursing home and
home care is great and will become even greater over time. According to a study by the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services, people aged 65 or older face a 40 percent lifetime risk of entering a nursing home.
Above all, the costs are growing just as fast - if not faster. According to the Health Insurance
Association of America, nursing home care is estimated to cost, on average, $125 per day. That's a total of $45,600 per
year. And in some regions, it can cost as much as $80,000. Moreover, about half of all nursing home costs are paid out-of-pocket
by individuals and their families. (Only about 8% is paid by Medicare.)
If your spouse or loved one is in a nursing home (or will be), the costs and the effects it will cause on your
energy, your time and resources, and, above all, your bank account can snowball out of control.
The risk is greater if you're NOT informed... Or, worse yet, misinformed!
Have you just been paying the nursing home without checking to see if there are ways to reduce or even eliminate it?
Is it because you don't know who to talk to or who to trust? You owe it to yourself and your family to learn the
secrets many smart families use to pay the nursing home bills and protect their assets, using specific strategies
that have been successful in the past as well as little-known laws designed to protect you.
Do these strategies work for everyone? No. The rules and guidelines are very fact-specific. And whether you can benefit
depends on your situation. The good news is that it won't cost you a single penny to find out - your only investment
is 15 minutes of your time.
As an elder and law attorney, my experience and knowledge in this important field has allowed me to know and understand
the laws. I know what questions to ask. And by spending a few minutes on the phone, we'll be able to tell you whether
you have a good solution (and the steps you can take to protect yourself and your family), or whether things appear to be
in pretty good shape just like they are. There's no reason why you shouldn't find out today!
I've seen too many families jeopardize their incomes, their livelihood and their hard-earned assets, simply because they
were misinformed, unprepared or too late to do anything about it. It really breaks my heart
to see so many of them struggling, day after day, with their hopes dashed and their bank accounts drained. Please don't
be next!
That's why I DON'T want you to pass up on this important opportunity to learn about the steps
you can take right now, especially if you have a loved one in a nursing home (or will soon be in one). It only takes 15 very
short minutes. If you're fine, I will tell you. If you're not, I will tell you that, too - as well as the steps we can take
right now... Either way, finding out costs you absolutely NOTHING. It's private, brief and thorough.
If you want to learn how to reduce or even eliminate nursing home expenses, or if you want to learn how to protect your
family's financial security, (such as how to help prevent putting your loved one's income, lifesavings and other hard-earned
assets, like the family home) - in jeopardy, then call us today to arrange for your FREE
consultation at (480) 947-3232.
In our first free visit, you will discover if we can help you...
- Benefit #1: Protect your hard-earned assets from growing nursing home costs.
- Benefit #2: Protect your most important asset - your family home - from the State.
- Benefit #3: Set aside more than the "$2000.00" that ALTCS allows.
- Benefit #4: Redo your estate planning, if and when needed.
- Benefit #5: Deal with State agencies, so that YOU don't have to!
- Benefit #6: Put an action-plan together... Without any surprises!
- Benefit #7: Understand the complexities of the ALTCS laws, as they apply to YOU!
- Benefit #8: Finally, protect an inheritance for you or your children.
All that and more can be determined in your initial no cost, no obligation assessment, particularly
if there are any steps you can take right now to: 1) reduce or even eliminate your nursing home bills, and 2) protect your
assets and the family home. You will never know unless you give it a try.
If you don't, remember that that the longer you wait, the greater the chances are that you will overspend on the unrecoverable
costs of caring for your loved one, that you will place any future inheritance at risk of being vulnerable to attack, and
that the risk of potentially losing any resources or hard-earned assets will increase over time.
